Hot enough for you? Early enough for you? The temps have transcended 90 the last couple of days, and they’ll reach ninety today, perhaps. Ladies and gentlemen below the Mason/Dixon line, I don’t know how you do it. I imagine you leave air conditioned spaces as little as possible.
Currently I’m sitting on the front porch in the dark, 3:33AM. I’m slightly out of sorts and not breathing properly. When I mindfully breathe I feel better.
So what have I done the last few days? On Monday I worked in the office for a few hours in the morning, but didn’t get much done, then visited with Paul at some Shorewood restaurant called The City Market after getting slightly lost and driving through a mildly terrifying neighborhood. I’m always fascinated when horrible neighborhoods exist next to yuppie enclaves. Monday night I fell asleep early. Yesterday I was in the office again, but only for maybe two hours followed by the gym and a couch collapse with the second episode of “True Blood”.
I should meditate soon. Oh, I fixed my bike. I’ll probably head out for a ride after M returns from Zumba. Have a good day.

It was REALLY hot today.
And I lived in Atlanta for two years.
Pity me.
